im a horde, got 2.2mill and as said, nothing to spend it on
as for the challenges, i dont set out to achieve them, they just happen.
It seems they've added a gold sink with the second DLC in the form of a Bank to stash items in. I can't confirm this, as I won't buy the second DLC until I've finished the first.

The skags remind me so much of the film series 'Tremors', particularly 'Tremors 3'.
Take a look at the Shriekers and you'll see what I mean!
funny you mention this, i often thought of tremors when the ants and scyhtid things pop up

Nope, i recently joined two mates who were level 18 and i was around level 9 i think. Of course i was useless and died a lot and did hardly damage whilst they had one shot kills and never died. Flip of that is i leveled up to theirs incredbly quickly.
I have a question about the DLC (as i've never bothered in the past) i'm not on steam for this game. How does the DLC work? When i go to download it what does it "lock on to". Please don't say its gamespy
.Yeah the 'bank' is basically a claptrap who doesn't talk. And you can buy more storage space. As for the arenas, well they're mindless fun, but the xp doesn't count (that's what I experienced anyway). I've only finished 5 rounds in one arena, and it does get a little boring and tiresome. I imagine if you're in a group then you can get some laughs, but singleplayer in Moxxi's underdome is not worth it IMO. Unless you want to pay for a bank.

is there better shields in playthrough 2? im using one from playthrough 1 (812 capacity, 124 recharge), and it just dissapears after about two shots i take, especially off them little midget poeple!

The shotgun midgets? If they get close, then they will be dishing out craploads of damage, regardless of shield. Best to keep your distance.

yeah those, sometimes i dont even see them when im shooting the brutes or something, next thing bam and im nearly dead!

If you're hosting a server then you've almost always needed to open ports. As games are veering from dedicated servers, it's going to increasingly be something you'll need to work around.

They've released a patch on Steam today for multiplayer. No need to faff about with ports any more. I connected seamlessly first time. Never attempted to before from reading all your comments.

After opening the vault (well destroying the creature), you get a video of a clap trap turning into a ninja asassin "CL4P TP". Any ideas where this guy is and is there a mission?
