Borderlands

Why would you be able to get steam achievements when its not on steam

Its 50 euros on Steam which only works out 2 euros cheaper than getting Borderlands for 20 and all 4 DLC at 8e each. Not much of a saving really... is it £40?

There are some games that i can buy from retail shops that still have Steam achievements, like Civilization 5 for example. This is why i asked.

As for Steam i am to believe that they are selling the goty edition for £30.

Only Steamworks games will allow retail copies to have achievements.

I think the £30 price is just an introductory offer, £40 usually.

Quick Question about the General Knoxx DLC.

Whenever I play the game it always puts me right at the start. Is this what is supposed to happen? Its a bit of a PITA really if your mission is right at the far end of the map.

I was wondering the same thing - Mad Moxxie is generally considered a bit naff. General Knoxx is designed to play through after you've finished the main quest. Not sure about where to do Zombie or Claptrap.

I haven't bothered with Mad Moxxie.

Played Zombie which was OK. Knoxx again OK and will play Claptrap after which hopefully will be a better.

As DLC goes its not great IMO. FO3 DLC was better apart from Mothership Zeta which wasn't great and I lost interest.

Sorry, you class Operation Anchorage as better quality than Borderlands DLC? Mad Moxxie may be a bit naff but it was mostly done to add that sort of game mode in, you don't have to get it if you don't intend to ever play it. But the other 3 match content you'd normally get in an expansion easily.

Think you have that wrong, Claptrap DLC continues the story. Tbh, it's prob best to go Ned-Knoxx-Claptrap once you've completed the game :)

Just going through Playthrough 2 with my Level 44 Mord and still really enjoying the game which is amazing considering how much time I have put into it. I don't think I have ever played a game so much that keeps me wanting to come back for another go.

Drops on Playthrough 2 seem much better, trying to go through all the quests this time around.

I'm hoping there is a Borderlands 2 in the pipe.

What the heck is going on online with this game? There's so much cheating it's unbelievable. I've had people dropping orange Omega class mods and purple shields with 2 million capacity. Can't nobody just play it properly? :(
