boris johnson

its not over analysis, but when your representing the country at least make an effort thats all, the chinese and olympic members looked the part but boris even tried to put his hands in his jacket pockets

he looked like he'd been dragged out of the nags head to appear !

He looked and acted like a English gent? OH NOES!

For me the olympics party thing outside Buck Palace really is going to represent it all. By this i mean the choice of bands there all of them half rate bands which are dead or nearly there.
It makes me cringe.
I turned the Tv off once i saw Boris Johnson on the Tv holding the flag, and then doing the interview.
Jeez what have we let ourselves into.

We're not currently at war with China so Boris did better than I expected him to do.

Maybe with how well we do with big building projects and events in this country we should outsource it back to China and use the budget to pay them rent on their stadiums they build for this one ... probably go a lot more smoothly ...

Why all the hatred towards Boris? How come nobody as mentioned the fact that Gordon Brown looked like a complete window licker with that stupid and inane false smile he puts on.

I thought he was quite amusing, even tho he didnt really do much there other than wave a flag and wave to people. He was loving it from the looks of it :D

I haven't made up my mind on Boris yet, but his speech was funny, the bits about ping pong and the dig at the french were hilarious. At least he isn't some identity kit politician, we have far too many of those...

I'm with the OP on this, i wouldn't go to a job interview looking like that never mind representing my country to an audience of hundreds of millions

Anyone see the program where they found out he is a descendent of King Charles II

I heard most of it, it sounded pretty good.

That's the main thing, he doesn't conform to the rigid and stoic expectations of how a man of his position should act, he just does his thing, and 9 times out of 10 he gets his point across and gives everyone a good giggle while he is at it.

Boris Johnson is an upper-class buffoon but for some reason I just can't help but like him. I'd rather have him represent us than Gordon Brown.
