I have this Werkstat Acrylic Kit and went over it with the acrylic glos but it still needs another wash and use the prime and jet products to remove the rest of the marks.


I know I am going to end up with swirl marks even using snow foam and then two buckets with a good mitt so I will end up taking it for a full detail after I get it serviced.
 
To be perfectly honest, you know you win at life when you have 3x GTX 680's and a i7-3960x sitting in your PC and a GTR sat on your driveway.

Haha! Update is, been busy but getting a few miles on it, now I am over 300 I can open it up a bit and man it is scary how fast it gets going!

Incredible cars,

Whats the second hand market like on these? i mean is it possible to pick up a good one, or is it a bit like the M5's where its likely to be a nail over certain miles

First gen models are in the 30s

You can pick up a good 09 for with less than 20k on it for under 40 grand then get all your servicing done by Litchfield, they will even do a warranty for a grand a year and cover any mods done by them where the extended nissan one is well over two grand and doesn't cover mods.

I wouldn't want to run the car without a warranty even if it was 100% stock with all the Nissan TSB/recall upgrades!

Sooo what's it like to live with, had any naughty times with it yet? Any 911s given you grief? Updates!

I had a dream last night that I got one and part of the bundle was wooden door handles for a house (!?), admittedly they were quite nice door handles :p Anyway, I recall being able to feel the ratchet of the drive selector before waking up and then feeling all sad about not actually having a GT-R :(

One day...
 
When I was youn I used to dream that I had a McLaren F1 outside the house. I could feel myself waking up and wishing that it was actually there, looking outside the window (into the garden :rolleyes:) and then being disappointed that it wasn't actually there. :(

Updates needed though. :cool:
