Bought an old BMW M3, filled with regret...

It's not a daily though :p I just took it today as I dropped it off on the way to work to have the brake fluid change done as it was due now.

Otherwise it sits there looking pretty most work days!

30 minutes to walk to work and walk around 5 miles a day combined, and use the ferry, or an hour or more to drive to work and sit through traffic, guess what I'd rather do :p

£20 of fuel would last me a month!

Obviously that was in the 318, that figure has increased slightly :p

my commute can vary wildly, depending on my coffee requirements, it can be anything from 0-11 metres :p

But I do regularly go stir crazy with cabin fever

Classic :D

I've got a double but the bloody things must have been designed for your mini!

I had to build a custom one for my Range Rover, damn designers not having 7 foot high 4x4's in their brief :p I wouldn't be at all happy keeping a Maserati outside.

Believe me I'm not but this is the position I'm in once my job is a bit more stable and I know where my base is my first requirement will be a house with a nice garage

So Autoglass just turned up, guy unpacked the new windscreen from his van, prepped it all, got the moudling out... they've supplied the wrong moulding so will have to be re-booked for another day.

I took a half day at work today to accommodate for their rather wide 3-8PM arrival time

That involves driving to work, which I do not do.

I'm just going to have to get them to arrive 6-8PM or a weekend instead.

Heh. Just had a call from their head office, re-booked for bank holiday Monday coming up.

3rd time lucky? :p

Edit*

Well, social networking can be a good thing I suppose!

In my personal experience Autoglass are a bunch of jokers, especially the booking process. I've found National Windscreens much better, plus you can actually go to one of their depots to have the work done if you want. Autoglass are closing all of theirs and going completely mobile.
