Bought an old BMW M3, filled with regret...

Myself and my mental friend will be taking our cameras too, though we are both ametuers. Mostly on the hunt for abandoned buildings to explore for arty farty shots. Though we will both be in my car. :)

I haven't decided what the route, locations to visit, and sleeping arrangements will be yet though...

Reading around, removing the sound insulation from the bonnet lid underside results in more prominent induction noise too. The CSL does not come with any sound insulation by default.

Heh, that also reminds me of a recent post on cutters where a guy was selling genuine sound insulation for the CSL. He got laughed it :o
 
Read the same about the Z4M as it has no sound insulation (or less) then the M3 so the noise is more noticeable as well. Also why the tapping noise is much louder in mine.
 
I tell my self that, and then turn the radio on after it sends me insane :P Hopefully this magical box makes it a bit less noticeable.

Little update, the panel has been primed and the flexible protection layer applied before painting commences on Wednesday. there are some final bits to fit and finish around the light cluster recess too. Expecting the whole car to start being painted Wednesday after being prepped tomorrow.

That always helps :P Still not had a dispatch email yet :( Emailed them today to chase it up but didn't get a reply. Cars booked into BMW on Thursday for its oil service and MOT so hopefully its here by then so I can fit it Friday lunch time at work.

Car is looking more like a car in each image now, in the last one like an I3 now its been mentioned.
 
Don't worry, once the carpeted trim and toolbox tray has been reinstalled the i3 resemblance will be gone :p

Give Evolve a call to find out, it really shouldn't take this long if it's shipped as it's next day courier.

Yeah if I had to park on the road then I'd be 24.7 paranoid. In the past I'd had a wing mirror kicked off by a drunk, though that was on the Civic, so a cheapo replacement. A neighbour had a drunk hit their car and attempt to drive off before the neighbourhood watch people ran out... And then there are people who regularly speed up and down.
