I think he's earned the right for the media not to crucify him over team changes, just look at what he's won over the years continually adjusting the team sheet every weekend.

It's when a manager does it for no good reason when attention is drawn to it. I think in recent years accomodating aging players like Giggs, Neville and Scholes dictates what team sheet we see every weekend. Rather than him making unnecessary changes for the sake of it. I still do gripe at some of his team selections but I can't really complain too much, he knows what's best for the team.
