Brazilian Grand Prix 2011, Interlagos Circuit - Race 19/19

So, yet another 1-2 by RBR.
Ever since the mid season break, RBR have just been nigh on unbeatable.

Fingers crossed that other teams can close the gap on RBR, otherwise, 2012 will be another Vettel/RBR benefit.

The last time we saw this sort of domination, was when Ferrari dominated from 2000-2004. That lasted 5 years. Could it be that we are in the midst of a 5 year domination? If so, we have another 3 years of Vettel winning the titles, to go. Imagine if Vettel does win the next 3 titles. That'll be 5 titles in a row...

Anyway, back to reality...

Rubens is F1!

*edit* There's MB. :)

Is this the same Rubens who has failed to win a title, despite being in Championship winning cars, on multiple occasions?

Rubens is a decent No2. driver. Nothing more.

I'm glad he is hanging up his gloves. It's only fair that other (young) drivers be given the opportunity to show what they can do.

It's not all about race wins. He's the perfect ambassador for the sport, far better than MSc for instance.

Everyone involved in the sport know and loves him, he's still passionate about racing after 19 years, and that mini-interview shows that he just loves F1 and his enthusiasm is infectious.

That's what I meant by my comment and I'll stand by it.
