Brazilian Grand Prix 2012, São Paulo - Race 20/20

I'm super hyped for this weekend, bring on the action! Really couldn't care who wins, both are deserving.

I also hope Sparky returns again. Won't be long till it's all reset and we begin the madness once over.

Same here, he's a decent guy and some of the hate is pure jealousy. It always happens in F1, someone dominates and everyone gets bored of it and you'll end up in the state this place is in. It happens in every walk of life, I remember people were calling Spain lucky and boring etc etc during Euro 2012 because at the previous world cup they were beating everyone 1-0 and doing nothing spectacular. By the time the final came around they beat a very strong defensively-minded Italy 4-0 and won the praise of many around the world. I'm on his side as I want Vettel to win more than Alonso but both would deserve it regardless. It really is a shame though.

Wow

Sparky blew a fuse !

Chill out dewd. It's British to support the underdog.

I just want to see an awesome race regardless of who wins. It's made more exciting though when the underdog pulls it off (at the last corner etc).

[edit]

You're not the "alternator guy" are you ?

Someone give me the tldr version re sparky?

Few people on here said that Massa should accidentally take out Vettel.
Sparky took offence.
Asked to be banned.
Didn't get banned.
Posted a whole load of swear words.
WAS BANNED.

All in all very silly :(

I'd rather Alonso get his 3rd WDC, than Vettel get his 3rd consecutive WDC. That would make Vettel so extremely arrogant.

The reasoning behind this? Other than finishing 3rd from the back of the grid his getting these titles has been relatively un-eventful. Pole to win races mostly, or at least very similar.

2010 was quite eventful. 2011 was a display of dominance, but you could call that uneventful.

Neither, which is why it says banned and not suspended or perma'd :p

Banned is time specific rather iirc, say banned for 3 months or however long they see fit.

Ah OK, didn't realise it actually said permabanned if you were permabanned.

I hope Sparky isn't watching Sky coverage of practice. Quite a discussion about collisions going on.

McNish doesn't know the rules.

I notice that nobody anywhere seems to be mentioning the chance of Webber crashing into Alonso?

Isn't that the second engine failure this weekend for him? That's got to be looking a little bit uncomfortable for Red Bull, following on from Webber's issues in Austin.

You really don't like her, do you :p

There is no reason for her to be there. Natalie Pinkham is so much better, and not completely annoying.

It the beige hair, beige skin, beige clothes.... And when she talks it looks like she's had a stroke as she only talks out of one side of her mouth.

I think, on reflection... No, I don't. :D

Coil packs and spark plugs yesterday.

Well it seems the engine went rather than the alternator.

I'd be cringing at any engine-related problem, to be honest. :p

I don't think it will have any impact on Vettel's weekend though. Hopefully we'll get a straight fight. :)

^ It's a shame they don't put Natalie up there with Ant, I don't think she's that good at the pit lane reporting, although I do like her.

Yes he does know the rules, deliberately crashing into someone will be against the rules.

As for Webber, maybe because he is good friends with Alonso....
