Doesnt mean anything, Button will make up places, Perez in the same car stays still or goes backwards.
Button's strength in the wet though is knowing the right time to switch tyres, rather than his ultimate lap times in the wet. Or at least that's what I've always thought. I'm not 100% convinced that his tyre selection isn't down to luck, but he has gotten it spot-on several times.
Was it Bridgestone that had extreme wet tyres?
In Canada 2012 (was it?), he was in last place and went through the field to beat the "unbeatable" Vettel. There wasn't any tyre changing going on - it was brute speed. Plain and simple.
Button is arguably the best driver in the wet and damp conditions.
They switched to BBC2 (though then cut the coverage just after Q3 finished).I didn't see it, BBC seemed to stop coverage for Q3 after the delays?
I'm going to assume you've chose two poor screengrabs, as that's barely even wet. :\
