Oh man, that is good. But I concur with the black pudding. Some lightly fried and chopped black pudding in it. Oh good god!

Most of the lactose free cheeses are pretty grim though. Happy to take recommendations for ones that don't suck of course. Not for me particularly but useful to know about when cooking for others.

well i tried this earlier on today
not great
mine was a french baguette (didnt want to use my tiger baton)already baked so it was over done and too dry
if u look at gillys its not fully cooked or its just anemic
so when i took mine out the egg had'nt cooked so had to put back in
after that it was too dry and i could'nt stop coughing lol (good job i had a brew in waiting
it tasted ok but too stodgy for me, prob would have tasted better iif i had a hangover
and too much faffing around for it, nice idea though gilly

It's in the oven t-10mins.
Bacon and mushroom. Using part baked baguette, I think part baked is going to be good for this, baguette not so far. It's to thin. I couldn't pile all the filling in. Probably could have ripped out some more bread, but I thought I went far enough.
