Breaking a padlock :D

Looks like a decent lock, it'll be very hard to cut through. I'd say getting the broken key out would be the best option. You could try superglue to glue the key back together. If its wedged in there solid this wont work though.

angle grinder, failing that - locksmith!

£80 to pay a locksmith, no thanks!

I'd try a dab of superglue on the key and see if it'll pop.

Plan B would be forget attacking the padlock as it'll be tough, but I'd dremel through the metal across where the bolt of the padlock is. It's only a few mm thick there and I'm guessing weaker that the padlock itself

You could always try drilling the lock out, it might work, but you'd need a pretty hefty, corded if possible, drill.

The small numbers "310/35" you see imprinted at the base of the CISA lock are key identification numbers.

Get a pin and try to dislodge the broken key without pushing it further into the barrel. Then get some very fine needle nose pliers and pull it out.

Then you can contact the manufacturer for a 310/35 key and provide them will all the details of ownership, they should send you a key in a few days.

Either angle grinder or drill the lock out.

Edit: or bolt croppers but cut the bit of metal that the lock goes into rather than the lock itself.

its definitly brass welly the ****** it will break :D

i would put long thin bar in it or a chisel and a bar on the chisle for extra length then leverage away it will snap
