Breaking Bad Season 4

I think the issue with ted might end up being something bigger than we think.

Ted figures out how Skylar can afford to buy a business and give him all that money in such a short space of time? I mean, Ted knows exactly what Skylar and Walt personal life was like. She was pregant and had to work... he must now be thinking where the money came from?

Skylar has showed that she can lie but I don't think its in her to continue living a lie like Walt.

All I could think about today at work was how fantastic that episode was and just how great the acting was. The end scene will forever be embedded into my brain. It was just so damn amazing.

I was thinking though, what if all the bodyguards didn't take a shot? I guess you have to look past that.

No series has had me hooked like this. What an awesome season so far. Whilst season 3 was slow I felt it needed to be slow, but this has been perfect from the first episode.

The latest episode had me glued from start to finish.

No way they would have refused a drink with the Don..it would have been seen as hugely disrespectful. Gus was banking on Don Eladio's arrogance and the need to show that he had 'tamed' Gus. By offering the drink to everyone he was underlining his superiority and dominance over Gus. Gus knew this would likely be the case.

Still, what a staggeringly good series this is :D

Wonder what happens to Walt now? If Jesse can cook the meth to Gus's liking, then why keep paying an extra man? I guess if something goes wrong, Walt can figure it out while Jesse can't, so theres that.

It seems like Jesse has built a trust/respect relationship with Mike and Gus while Walt just hates everyone right now and it was his idea to kill Gus.... and Mike knows this.

I can only see this series ending with Walt dying of cancer. Its going to be emotional for sure.

Last episode has got to be my favourite of the season so far. :D

I just wonder how sick Gus is, and whether Jesse actually will still want to kill him after what they've been through.

I think there is going to be a major death this season, maybe Hank or more likely Gus.

Also there probably is going to be some development in the fact that Walt Jnr heard Walt call him Jesse. I think he's going to be getting a lot more suspicious now.

I don't think spoilers are too big a deal, I stay well away from this thread if I don't watch the episode straight away. That said, I don't know quite why we're getting away with this thread when others are closed. I'm guessing the fact UK channels just seem completely unwilling to pick this up helps.

Mike would have ended them, obviously.

Walt still cooks better meth, but I think what's saving Walt right now is that Jesse told him in no uncertain terms that he wouldn't work if Walt was killed. Now admittedly that may not be too true after their fight, but Gus doesn't know that.

Which is neatly ironic really, since the only reason Jesse is around is because Walt made the same threat ages back.

Was bugging me who Don Eladio was. Manny from Scarface!

Mark Margolis (Hector Salamanca) was also in Scarface:) Legendary actor, I know him from Darren Aronofsky's films, took me awhile to recognise him here. It's not that he looks different, he just have such a different 'tude that I couldn't make the connection:p

If he mentions Jesse's name to either Hank or Skylar, things could get interesting. More so if he tells Hank... but thats really pushing it because Walt was out of it and probably hung over.

Anyone seen this? :D

Just watched the last episode and I must say, it was awesome, one of the best in the series so far. Reminded of early Breaking Bad episodes, had this minimalist, but menacing quality to it. Just awesome.

Holy crap! I had another look at the end of that latest ep and I'm almost certain that Mike IS deliberately raising his gun towards Jessie there!

He definitely does raise the gun towards him then gets shot... I can't wait for the next.

It certainly looks that way, it's not a natural movement one might make while getting in the car either.

Either it's a mistake or intentional, hopefully if intentional the next sheds some light on it via dialogue between Gus and Mike to the tune of "Did you deal with him, Jesse?" or something.

If they were going to kill him was their only intention for him the grand plan with the Cartel?

What about the ramifications with Walt, could they risk it? They do not have another cook?

Some interesting discussion on it here with some frames.
