Breaking Bad Season 4

It certainly looks that way, it's not a natural movement one might make while getting in the car either.

Either it's a mistake or intentional, hopefully if intentional the next sheds some light on it via dialogue between Gus and Mike to the tune of "Did you deal with him, Jesse?" or something.

If they were going to kill him was their only intention for him the grand plan with the Cartel?

What about the ramifications with Walt, could they risk it? They do not have another cook?

Some interesting discussion on it here with some frames.

In one of those frames, Mike has the gun in Jesse's direction but isn't looking at him. I just think it was just Mike getting in the car, there doesn't seem to be a valid reason yet for Mike to end Jesse.

:o still, keeps me more interested.

Wow, that thread was scary, the depth to which they go and the vehemence of all the name-calling over a piece of film that lasts less than 0.75" is amazing! :p For the record I do think it's likely it was intentional, it IS a bit inconsistent that Gus stopped Jessie from drinking the poison earlier but maybe he figured they'll need the extra gun while making their getaway, and now they were out Jessie's just dead weight. Walt would be unhappy but they could blame it on the cartel and he might even believe it, he'd have no choice but to continue cooking anyway.

Looks like a wrap party
For what? Evil Sesame Street? :p

Mike wasn't pointing the gun at Jesse. He was just checking to see if there was any baddies going about.

Why would Mike and Gus go through with their plan on killing everyone and then do the same to Jesse? They did that to the Cartel so they could all go home. Gus risked his life so they could all go home. Mike and Gus were free to go now that the cartel had Jesse.

It just doesn't make sense for them to kill Jesse.

If you look at the screens again, Jesse is standing nearer to the camera, Mike is aiming to the right of Jesse, not pointing straight at him. It just doesn't add up. If Jesse didn't cook the meth then Gus would be laughed at and looked down on by the cartel, he would be ruined for wasting their time.

Monday can't come soon enough.

"Don Eladio is dead. His capos are dead. You have no one left to fight for. Fill your pockets and leave in peace. Or fight me and die!"

Best line in the episode.

Apart from that one tiny scene, nothing else points to Mike or Gus wanting to kill Jesse; not at this stage anway. If anything, Gus has even more reason to keep Jesse alive, knowing that he at least has the potential to cook meth as good as Walt and that he is easier to coerce.

I think either two things happened which caused Mike to raise his gun. Either he spotted one of the mexicans just as he was about to enter the car, or more likely, he was simply covering Jesse, so as to allow him to enter the car too.

I agree Robert. :)

First time anyone on here has said that. :D

Got monday off. Going to watch the last 3 episodes then episode 11 while wearing my Heisenberg T shirt.. Gonna be a good day.

So the rules have changed?

Can a mode please clarify please?

I don't normally react to these types of posts, but seriously, why even ask?

I can understand if the thread just opened, but it's been open for ages now. If a mod deemed it unsuitable, it should have been closed a long time ago.

I would also understand if the discussion in this thread was illegal or causing someone harm, but that is not the case either.

So, why?

It certainly looks that way, it's not a natural movement one might make while getting in the car either.

Noticed it too, but I can only assume he was about to cover Jesse as he walked around to the other side, ready to sit down, rather than sit in the car with less room to return fire if needed.

Just sounded like you was looking for this thread getting locked or something, might have just been me who misinterpreted how you said it.

Theres not even any plans to air season 3 of BB over here. If we can't talk about it now, we might not ever be able to.

Anyway, why would you want to read a thread about a tv show that didn't talk about the episodes? Of course there will be spoilers, as long as they're hidden or don't give too much away.
