Breaking Bad Season 4

I thought it was a great touch to have Gus adjust his tie as he walks out of the room. Completely in shock, it's an instinctive thing which fits in with what we've seen of him before - folding his jacket before vomming up the cartel poison - folding his tie before putting on the plastic suit to kill the guard in the lab. It's little things like that which make the difference between a good series and a great one.

Im so glad the forum convinced me to watch this show, it's ended up being some of the best tv in years, it's a little slow in places but it builds up to something great in the end.

Is it odd to feel a little sad Gus is gone?

I thought he was a good character and even after everything he did i still sort of liked him, same for Walter, they're both bad ass in their own way, a lot of the characters are oddly likeable considering all the stuff they've done, similar to dexter.

I agree, except watching Dexter now i don't get nearly as excited about it as i used to. I think that Breaking Bad has set the bar so high that everything else just pales in comparison.

Yeah, i think dexter peaked in season two when he was close to being discovered, that's the stuff that makes the show interesting but there's not enough of it, i want to see him seriously screw things up and someone to find out again, it's gotten too easy for him.

What a thoroughly awesome show on many levels. Nothing comes close to this. Character development so compelling through all 4 seasons. Perfect pace. Clever camera work. Has there ever been an anti-hero in recent times as complete as Walt?

Agreed. He's an awesome character. Excellent acting too.

He's almost Tony Soprano style complex. A wonderful creation.

Gonna miss Gus, despite him wanting to kill Walt's infant daughter, I still like him.

:D

they need do do a few special episode about gus before he was in america.

that mexican boss guy said he knew of gus in chile so he most have done some dodgy stuff before he arrived in mexico/america

Cannot get over this show, the acting is immense.

Watching the finale back and thinking how Hector goes unnoticed as an actor really but is so utterly convincing. The scene between him and Gus with the needle is so perfectly scripted and acted. World class.
