Breaking Bad Season 5 - Part I

I could always understand why there was a problem when we talked about a series with a short gap between the US and UK air dates, but Breaking Bad will probably be finished before it ever gets shown on TV in the UK again, so who exactly are we spoiling by talking about it?

The reason it's not been picked up by UK channels for season 3+ is thanks to poor viewing numbers for season 1 and 2.

Now being a huge film and TV fan, back in 2009 I had no idea about the show. In-fact it wasn't until recently that I even knew about it.

The issue is because the show was only available on Syfy which to be honest isn't exactly a main stream station its no wonder it had poor numbers.

If it had been on a different channel thats more commonly available then im sure it would have done really well. Personally for me its right up there with the best, and it just keeps getting better with each episode.

Our problem is not spoilers, but the lack of legal access to watch it.

I'm waiting on someone telling me a legal way (not Skype!) to watch it here. Otherwise we might not be able to have this thread at all :/

I actually thought you were been sarcastic :o

I know you guys don't normally elaborate on these things but assuming no one has/does mention where to get these things, how is it illegal/problematic to ocuk if it's discussed ? Free speech and all that ? Serious question not after a 3 page discussion just an answer and I'll shut it :)

Thanks in advance Gilly if you do answer

Well, from my pov I wouldn't want to be seen to be encouraging illegal activities on forums linked with the business. As a team we would be if this was retained with us being aware of it.

Not sure what you mean by free speech.

Someone said it was available on Netflix. Is it?

Well there are always your US based customers, or other countries where it's broadcast?

I think netflix has up to season 3.

I would understand that position if people discussed ways of obtaining shows illegally, but discussion about the show itself is not in anyway endorsing whatever methods are used if they are using illegal methods?

Then surely anything iffy related must go the same way?

What about the 14+ page newsgroup page in networks, let's be honest here there is one main reason for newsgroup access and people asking who is best for only one main reason.

No one is asking or discussing where to get episodes so why would OcUK end up in trouble?

I don't get it. Surely whichever authority OCUK think are going to come down on them for the discussion of TV shows which haven't been aired in the UK are more likely to come down quicker and harder on something like Digitalspy who actually exist within the media industry?

I am guessing that lady was their supplier? I wonder where Walt and Jesse were on the list of people to be killed? and if any other hitmen have that list?
