I'd probably sack LvG now and get him.

City fans would no doubt want him ahead of Pellegrini, Arsenal fans ahead of Wenger and at the moment, Chelsea fans ahead of Jose.

There's a degree of risk though - as ever.

That would work all round, as the amount of bitching done on here about your lot missing out on Jose, you could then appoint him. Or has that dream been forgotten again now?

I do agree though United should not be missing out on Klopp, the timing again is all wrong. I don't think he will have much success at Liverpool but I'm pretty sure he would win everything at United. I think he's a better fit for United than at Liverpool.

good luck to the guy (if it is him, which admittedly it looks likely now) - still wish he was going to a "better" club than the Scousers though

Winter window should be interesting - Barca, Liverpool, Chelsea and possibly Utd and City (given City's iffy form at present and Utd not doing what they should have in the summer) all potentially spending big - Jan could see even larger sums than "usual" spent.

I was proved right, Torres was too weak and light weight for the EPL. It's not like he lasted is it? Be thankful you cashed in at the right time

He will be a success if you think CL football every 3 or 4 years is a success. Not that it will be a fault of him, that's just the way of life with the budget he will have and your team getting raped for every good player he makes.

Torres wasn't too weak for the league at all. You're talking absolute rubbish. His record is almost 1 every 2 despite having a mare at Chelsea

Torres was pretty strong at his peak, absolutely devastating striker, shame it didn't last, I loved watching him play(at LFC).
