remind me why people voted Leave ?

Because there was no football on they could be watching instead.

To be fair both leave and remain camps were awful, a pack of lies vs accusing everyone of being racist.

With such upbeats campaigns that focused on all the positives it's no wonder the country feels upbeat at the moment...

How could you possible run a budget with so much uncertainty?

So why say there would be an emergency budget?

that isn't a lie yet, he simply said he will hold of for a whole month until the new PM is selected.

think people heard what they wanted from that speech, rather than what he actually said.

By which time he'll probably just let it drop on the quiet.

at least we'll know there will never be another referendum

government thought there was no possible way the public would pick the "stupid" option

seems they were wrong

not unless the economy magically rebounds.
either we start bowing a hell of a lot more, raise taxes or cut expenditure or a mixture.

its why he said 2 months before the referendum, give it time to level out somewhat so they know what the new lower economy looks like.

and all he's done is said he wont announce new budget till new leader is in, which is 3 months rather than 2.

No, look at he faces of some of the political leaders in the EU they are all scared, look at the way our political parties are crumbling when has that ever happened, look at how both side pushed fear and intimidation to its subjects.

The queen even asked give her 3 reasons why we should be in the EU.

wtf this is how crazy its got, arent you a bit interested in whats really going on.

Juncker

looks like Spain going to have another vote in December so EU is calm for now.

Politicians are scared because for the first time in ages, they are going to have to earn their cirn in the face of adversity. No more 1/4 houses of parliament and falling asleep.

They have no EU safety net now they will have to work for their money.

Because there is still likely to be a new budget when we know how the next few months/years will pan out.

Making decisions based on little information and no plan doesn't work, as we've seen with the leave campaign - a speculative jump into the unknown led by the unwashed masses trying to stick it to the man.

Geoffrey Robertson, QC, founder of Doughty Street Chambers, told The Times: “People think Brexit is a done deal; it’s not. Our democracy rests on parliamentary sovereignty, which is in the keeping of MPs, who make or break laws, and peers, who can block laws.

So the sovereignty that people wanted to exit to 'take back' might well be the thing that blocks the change :D

Boris Johnson said:
I cannot stress too much that Britain is part of Europe, and always will be. There will still be intense and intensifying European cooperation and partnership in a huge number of fields: the arts, the sciences, the universities, and on improving the environment. EU citizens living in this country will have their rights fully protected, and the same goes for British citizens living in the EU.

British people will still be able to go and work in the EU; to live; to travel; to study; to buy homes and to settle down. As the German equivalent of the CBI – the BDI – has very sensibly reminded us, there will continue to be free trade, and access to the single market. Britain is and always will be a great European power, offering top-table opinions and giving leadership on everything from foreign policy to defence to counter-terrorism and intelligence-sharing – all the things we need to do together to make our world safer.

Boris wants access to the single market, including freedom of movement?

That's going to upset a lot of people who voted leave.
