Bringing food on to aeroplane?

Nowadays peanuts are frowned upon so don’t take those.

Yeah to be on a safe side better not bring any nuts just in case there's someone with nut allergy on board. Generally there's no issue with bringing your own food on board though you may get asked a few question when going through security. Once I was asked about a banana in my bag and once my gf's bag was send to the side 3 times! because of an apple. Even the guy checking her bag was annoyed at the guy at the scanner for sending to the side after he told him twice it was just an apple!

Food is fine aslong as it's consumed before you depart the aircraft as some countries have strick rules on what can be brought in. Any left overs we leave on the plane.

Just bin it when they go with the bin bag before landing or when you get into the terminal building. Hate when people leave their crap on their seats.

When I flew to Cyprus in April, the pilot asked for no nuts or nut based foods to be eaten due to 2 passengers having nut allergies.

I always carry sweets, biscuits with me. Had airport lounge access so filled belt with breakfast

yes - thought there was still a limit on power bank sizes.
and although for USA need to eat cheese/meat sandwiches before getting off plane, its ok for EU.
Also fruit and veg is not allowed in USA. I remember a sniffer dog going round the luggage carousel area, trained on detecting fruit n veg. This was Chicago O’Hare airport. Sniffer dog went to a guy and alerted the handler. Opened up his hand luggage and had at least 15 pieces of fruit.

As others have said, snack type things will be fine. For anything fresh/dairy/fruit/meat you'll probably want to make sure you eat on the plane before going through customs - unless you know what you're allowed to bring through.

Every airport has a Boots. After security I always go there and get a meal deal as it's reasonably priced compared to airport prices, sorts me out for the flight.

There aren’t limits but I would probably avoid anything smelly. You take a risk with nuts because if someone has a nut allergy they are going to announce it and you won’t be able to open them. You need to be careful with fresh stuff like fruit for example as you will need to eat it before you arrive at the other end as you won’t be able to take it into the country 99% of the time.

God that reminds me of being a kid, spanish belly
2 hours of sheer hell with half the plane suffering from it!

Just walking into the plane loo would make your eyes water!

Business class 747 London to NY, work trip. Pure liquid from the rear, I destroyed our toilet half way into flight and was sat next to toilet. The shame when they came over to quietly spray the toilet.

Next time I know to go for walk down to economy, destroy that and return to business. Ps, I hardly fly and have not returned to US since.
