Lol didnt know about that thanks.
Was looking to take some Doritos big bags with us. Dunno what the rules are in greece but they probably get polished off on the plane.
Shame cant take peanuts those would keep me going.
What are the rules regarding bringing food into airport/aeroplane? I know you cant bring liquids like drinks etc in hand luggage through secuity
Up to 20000mAh, but may depend on airline..
If you take crisps, put a pinhole in the bag to let the air out, otherwise they blow up like balloons in the cabin pressure.
The liquid restrictions have been in for 17 years now! Still see passengers claiming that they have rights to bring their 2l water, 400ml shampoo etc on the plane.Just come back from Jerusalem
Going out from Manchester, no liquids larger than about 100ml allowed in hand luggage or only small tubes
Coming back through tel aviv and I had big water bottles and cans of pop in hand luggage which even went through scanner and not a problem, it felt weird
Many (most?) airports in the UK have a Boots airside where you can buy stuff at basically high street prices. The liquid restrictions have been in for 17 years now! Still see passengers claiming that they have rights to bring their 2l water, 400ml shampoo etc on the plane.
The sooner the liquids restrictions are lifted, the better. It’s s bloody cheek that airports charge £2.75 for a bottle of water post security. It’s not like a motorway where we can get off a junction and drive a mile or so to a shop in a retail park or village to get a drink for half the price to service stations.
Some posters have mentioned bring an empty bottle to fill up with water after security. Some airports, esp foreign ones don’t have a water fountain plus some countries you aren’t recommended to drink the tap water!
Very interesting, thanks. Not read it fully, but I'm looking forward to not having to get laptop, tablet etc out. I often take a lot of tech with me and sometimes end up needing three of those trays to go through the scanners and it's a PITA!!!100ml liquids rule: which UK airports have changed restrictions?
Airports across the EU will reintroduce the 100ml liquid limit from September, following UK airports, which reverted to legacy hand luggage rules in June.www.thetimes.co.uk
Slowly being lifted depends where you’re flying from.
Nowadays peanuts are frowned upon so don’t take those.
Personally I see no issue with you taking food on the plane, though stinky fermented fish probably best avoided.
depends if you think 3 quid is normal for a 49p bottle of water. Same as WHsmiths...Many (most?) airports in the UK have a Boots airside where you can buy stuff at basically high street prices.
No, nothing like Smith's. Boots airport stores charge basically the same as the high street stores, so you should not be paying 3 quid for a bottle of water.depends if you think 3 quid is normal for a 49p bottle of water. Same as WHsmiths...
oh well i stand correctedNo, nothing like Smith's. Boots airport stores charge basically the same as the high street stores, so you should not be paying 3 quid for a bottle of water.
A whole meal deal at Boots airport stores is about four quid.

I take phone, iPod (better battery life than music on a phone. Bring them back Apple), Kindle and two power packs. Some airports insist I take these out of my bag and remove my Fitbit.Very interesting, thanks. Not read it fully, but I'm looking forward to not having to get laptop, tablet etc out.
