Might just go for the practice this year. I agree with Sparky. When I went to Spa last year I had a pretty good idea as to what was happening in the race as we were near a big screen and quite close to it.
Trouble with Silverstone is, if you sit at Becketts, which is arguably one of the best parts of any racing track in the world... the screen seems like its miles away, so without a kangaroo you can easily lose track of who is where on the track.
Put it this way, last year I was sat at Wellington bridge, the nearest screen probably was literally just over half a mile away near Luffield and when Jenson had his moment coming out of the pits I genuinely thought it was Hamilton until a few laps before the end of the race!
So this year I think I'm gonna get the best of both, go for Friday, for the noise and the sight of the cars and then watch qually and race from home.
