British Grand Prix 2014, Silverstone - Race 9/19

While taking 3/4 of a second out of Rosbergs lead?

If Rosberg pits on to medium tires it won't matter, he'll just end up 4-5 seconds ahead after they've both pitted.

He'll be faster on newer tires without question, Hamilton isn't in dirty air, he won't suddenly get a second a lap quicker if Rosberg pits(as if he was right behind). Rosberg has 3 seconds, pits, and will be 1-2 seconds faster on his out lap than Hamilton on older tires. He'd need to be 0.5 seconds behind to have a chance if he pits second.
