If Rosberg is two stopping and it rains he is fine. I am surprised Hamilton isn't opening up the gap more with rain incoming.
They had NO SHOT at a win. What they did by having a two car buffer, is meaning both Williams are ahead of one Mercedes and now it might be to the end.
As such they may have turned 3rd/4th into 2nd/3rd.
Again if Bottas passed the slower Massa who was slower out of all those corners onto the DRS straights, he would have been very vulnerable to Hamilton. Meaning one merc directly behind each WIlliams, Merc undercut one car each at least and it would likely have been Rosberg ahead of one if not both of the Williams.
The difference is that Bottas was so much stronger out of corners than Massa has been, meaning he's a far better rear gunner than Massa is.

Oh shut up brindle, williams are not as fast.
I don't buy that
If Hamilton couldn't pass massa, and bottas could pull away it's well within reason it could be bottas Hamilton Rosberg massa
And no reason Hamilton was bound to get past bottas
Will they give Rosberg the undercut?
I hope not. Hamilton should get first option to pit.
