British Grand Prix 2015, Silverstone - Race 9/19

MB is talking some serious crap today. "That's sport at the highest level"? Yes Martin, team ordering the faster driver not to overtake after only ten laps and ruining his and their chance to win the race, that's obviously sport at the highest level, not.

It was just too obvious though. They have literally thrown away a real shot at a win at Silverstone

They had NO SHOT at a win. What they did by having a two car buffer, is meaning both Williams are ahead of one Mercedes and now it might be to the end.

As such they may have turned 3rd/4th into 2nd/3rd.

Again if Bottas passed the slower Massa who was slower out of all those corners onto the DRS straights, he would have been very vulnerable to Hamilton. Meaning one merc directly behind each WIlliams, Merc undercut one car each at least and it would likely have been Rosberg ahead of one if not both of the Williams.

The difference is that Bottas was so much stronger out of corners than Massa has been, meaning he's a far better rear gunner than Massa is.

I think you missed the point. His point was making a mistake will hurt you badly in sport at the highest level. It was about how Williams being 3rd and 4th in qualifying, beating Ferrari comfortably and getting a double podium will be seen as a massive failure.
