Maybe they should have pitted Bottas. I didn’t realise his tyres were that old. Plus the heating/cooling of the safety cars may not have helped all of their tyres.

I'm not sure Hamilton was helped by the first SC. Others voluntarily pitted and gave up track position. The second SC helped preserve his tyres a bit.

Shame about kimis poor driving. Would have been an interesting scrap between Vettel and Hamilton.
