People claiming it’s all over, I don’t think the Merc’s are as bulletproof as people think. I can see engine penalties at some point, Lewis Is already on a new mgu-k.

Horner saying there was no guarantee that Verstappen would have made it without changing tyres. Deep groove and several lacerations in the front left.

Unless Hamilton gets engine penalties for like 3 more races, it's all over. Hamilton skipping a race won't have much of an impact right now.

Verstappen would have to suddenly start beating Hamilton in every race for a single engine penalty to matter.

Maybe it's not debris but a 'sharp' kerb that's been damaged during the weekend they're hitting with the front left?

Crazy watching the footage of Lewis adjusting settings on his wheel, mid corner, with a blown tyre.

Mad what these guys are capable of in these cars.

Standard. They took it out, they’ll check it over and reuse it in a future race. Even with penalties they’d still finish top two mostly.

Wow. Quite the most exciting end to a race I've seen in some time. But what happened to Stroll?

And Grosjean needs to go.

Bottas and Sainz were both complaining of vibration around lap 30 something IIRC, and had deep visible blisters on the tyre shoulder; both well before Kimi's wing fubar'd itself. I remember thinking Bottas's onboard looked so juddery it might be another Raikkonen at Nurburgring situation.

If Pirelli and the teams discount the tyre problems as just down to debris they're opening themselves up to massive issues next week, especially if we're dropping down 2 steps softer as someone claimed earlier in the thread.

Crazy. Tyre goes, on three wheels still going crazy fast through the corner and he’s changing multiple settings on the menu.
