Mind games. Hamilton is winning. Can’t wait for him to clean up with an 8th title.

I think this is wishful thinking to be honest. I Think Max is going to clean up the next few races. Seeing Red Bull smash Mercedes at Paul Riccard made me realise this is not the year for Lewis.

You’re probably right, but with Max’s hot head and RBR egging him on with their histrionics LH & Mercedes can win it. It’s RBR’s to lose and they might just do it.

I’d be happy with pretty much anyone winning, just not red bull. I find Horner insufferable, more so after watching the Netflix series. I’d quite like to see verstappen drive for another team. Him and Lewis at Mercedes could be a brilliant spectacle.

Indeed. Thus far, with the exception of Baku, Lewis/Merc have done a fantastic job of making a fight of races where they should have done poorly, but overall Max/RB are clearly ahead and fighting against that kind of advantage over the course of a season is very hard work. I don't see Hamilton taking it without serious reliability wobbles from RB.

I'd love to see it though! Sealing the 8th would make my year (my life isn't that sad I swear!) but I just don't think it's looking likely.

Unless he has a stonking 2nd half of the season

I didn't watch the race at Paul Riccard because i have more respect for my eye site than to put it through watching a race on that track.
That said, the post you were quoting from is a bit of balance as well.
Last weekend Hamilton laid down a marker, Max can take note and deal with that marker. Or, he can carry on trying to intimidate Lewis. My guess is that he will carry on in the same way. That being the case..........Max won't win this year and may not even win next year. No amount of moaning by RB and Horner will change the fact that Max is still too hot headed and impulsive to be a WC. He will be eventually, that's for shure, but not this year.

I am on the same page. Doubt LH/Merc will win the respective titles this year. RB clearly have the faster car and Merc have already said no upgrades coming to theirs (the ones at silverstone were the last).

Red Bull Hire Lawyer To Investigate Potentially “Fatal” Crash

That's starting to annoy me online also, he walked away from it a little shaken up and took a minute to compose himself. (Hospital was for procedural check ups)

We have unfortunately all seen fatal crashes in the past and they can potentially arise from anything! It's motorsport every crash could be potentially fatal if circumstances are against you.

They are sore losers and shows how Max focused they are. Even in the race, Perez could have taken a points finish but they rather have him pit and do the fastest lap so Lewis couldnt get his.
I think that particular rule needs to be scrapped tbh. A driver outside the top 10 doesn't qualify for a point (for fastest lap) but it also prevents someone inside the top 10 from getting a point? I get the argument that they technically aren't setting the fastest outright lap but it was introduced and intended on providing a spectacle for the fans seeing a driver take a gamble and going for a fastest lap and an extra point... if you're dead last... who cares? :o

In my mind, if you're outside the top 10 then you shouldn't have any right to affect the fastest lap of any driver within the top 10. After all, I dare say RB would have a lot to say if Russell starts chucking on fresh tyres on the penultimate lap and robbing Max of the fastest point.

I think he should be able too, Russell might finally get a point! lol

28 people voted the GP a 10/10 and 25 voted in 1-5/10.... I am curious to know of those who voted a score of 5 or under: WHY and ARE YOU A MAX FAN?

Not baiting anyone - this is genuine curiosity

I voted it a 6 because a little under half of the race was a dreadful procession and a little over half of it was brilliant. Simple.

And I certainly don't like Max. Can't stand him. I'm not a fan of Hamilton either though.
