Maybe if manufacturers put water temperature gauges back in new cars they would save themselves from catastrophic failures like this.
Best of luck with it my friend.
This, I dont understand why they took them out. My Ibiza is missing one and it would be nice to know when the cars near running temp, or more important when its over heating.
My experience of dealerships on the whole, is that they arent mechanics anymore, just fitters, they just go by what the computer tells them and thats it. They seem lost with the difficult stuff.
Fuel and coolant? Really?
May as well ask again as I am intrigued to know the answer and what Ford HQ think of the matter. As asked a few times already, have you actually spoken to Ford head office yet? I would be going mental and really wouldn't want the car back. Why is it is so stuffed when its a nearly new car?!
Did you buy it from Ford? Or is it on a scheme of some sort?
Thank god the fuel didn't hit anything hot to cause it go up in flames =/
From the sound of things (and assuming the OP got out OK) that might have solved a lot of problems![]()
