dont forget, the main reason why MSI pulled out of their partnership with Nvidia is because they were not making enough money on their GPU's, Nvidia price cap so company's have to price out cards on a certain level,
so they probably wont increase the prices to absurd levels, maybe the rrp for a 4090 will be 1500-1600 tops, like the 3090 rrp on release....

I can imagine everyone buying their 4090s direct....

Still plenty of time for FE prices to be adjusted to £2k, just have to hope our new clown chancellor doesn't announce any further tax cuts in the interim

Also, 3090 FE cooler was trash, inadequate cooling for VRAM on backplate. Rest of the 3000 series FE coolers were very good though.

A lot of AIB cards were just as guilty of that as well. But the 3090ti and 4090 both have all the ram modules on one side of the card so wont be an issue this time.

You mean EVGA and that was not the reason.

Rog strix 4090 overclockers placeholder price is now at £2159. This launch is shaping up to be an exciting one!
Considering some people were paying upto £3000 for a 3090 Strix at one point I'm sure they will find this a bargain... for everyone else it looks and feels like a rip off tbh , I will get an FE card this generation, really can't be arsed with these price hikes on gpu left right and centre , if the 4090 FE suddenly jumps up in price will be giving that a miss aswell and stick with my 3090 Strix.

Money printers were worth a LOT of money.

4000 series can't print money.

sorry yes Evga, 80% of their income is from GPU sales, some vids online about Nvidia setting GPU prices and that EVGA finding it difficult to make a profit, as well as other jensen problems

Who knows, maybe EVGA will partner with AMD?

No way i will be paying 2k Plus for a card lol and the bench marks are not even out yet either, I think this DLS 3 is hiding the true native performance. lets see this card in action before buying anything at this silly price.

Close... it was EVGA... MSI is still balls deep into Nvidia and haven't pulled out yet as they have a backup plan to start many ebay accounts under many names and scalp their own cards again.

Had a small edit too, just to make it clear to @hobib_ali :p

They can all go where the sun doesn't shine really... The AIBs were all just as bad with the 30 series and ASUS/MSI both stuck out to me as the two worst pair back then. Welcome to a new world mate where they think they can take us all for a ride... People just need to think and realise what is going on before throwing their money at these companies.
