Have they took the good guess prices off the cards now on main site?

Yes some sites were spotting it and claiming we are scalping, seems some of the press cannot grasp currency fluctuation.

As such we will just leave pricing blank for now and then when our stock lands we can set the price as it won't change then and it will just be what it is, so lets hope the GBP gains some strength, if it gets back to 1.14 before stock lands then were good for MSRP on entry level AIB cards.

I know there are only placeholder prices right now but the difference between standard versions and the OC version can run up to a £170 difference! If you get the standard version All you need to do is set the GPU clock higher before you use whatever program you want to use and you save a fair bit of cash unless there’s something I’m missing about the OC versions?

More to it than that, some of the OC versions use 600W PCB, so can pull more power, superior cooling solutions and as such they *MIGHT* be able to run at higher boost frequencies, but as there is no reviews or real world testing I cannot deny or confirm this.

But lets say for instance a 450W reference card runs and boost in a 2600-2800MHz region max and an OC 600W version runs 2800-3000MHz, then what your paying for is the extra speed the OC card can maintain whilst gaming, but whether any truth or not, no one knows yet.

Thanks for the update and that makes sense and appreciate that we don’t have much information at this time.

Sounds like someone * MIGHT * of had a play with these new cards to make sure they work as intended for their customers
Shame these new cards are sky high as i would have liked a Strix to replace my 3090 but with prices floating around the £2100+ , I'm just not prepared to pay £400 - £500 over an FE for an AIB :(

the card should come with a meal voucher for 1 and a bottle of lube to make up for how rough its going to **** me over the pricing

@Gibbo, so if all is good in terms of currency rates, are the flagship 4090s gonna be around £1800? so the lower tier 4090s could be £1500 to £1600

Any indication, or estimates, so we know what to prep with in terms of cash.

Considering its looking to cost £480 over an FE ( if the placeholders are to be believed ) that best be some 5 star Michelin meal Voucher and a bottle of Dom Perignon for lube!

Pretty sure he has said if the £ stays as it is then they will currently be £1800 for a basic spec lower tier AIB with the top models costing upto £2200 , if the £ goes back to £1.14 then lowest tier will be from msrp :(

I would check up to see if the FE does the full 600W
I very much doubt the FE will be 600w , that is AIB territory but you should be able to up the power limit a bit over stock .. i reckon 500w max maybe 520w at a push as the 3090 FE had a 350W TDP but could be upped to 400W with afterburner etc .... if you are able to shunt mod the new cards then will be a ot more.

Lowest they will be is £1679 if the rate gets back to 1.14 with flagship ones around 2k.

As the rate is currently 1.07 there won’t be any cards under £1800.

Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity AMP Extreme AIRO is now just short of £2,060
Yeah man that needs rounding up for sure

dont forget, the main reason why MSI pulled out of their partnership with Nvidia is because they were not making enough money on their GPU's, Nvidia price cap so company's have to price out cards on a certain level,
so they probably wont increase the prices to absurd levels, maybe the rrp for a 4090 will be 1500-1600 tops, like the 3090 rrp on release....

I can imagine everyone buying their 4090s direct....
It not MSI, actually it is EVGA terminated their partnership with Nvidia but it not because EVGA not making enough money on their GPUs. Accorded to insiders and former employees, EVGA's GPU business are profitable, CEO Andrew Han made too many bad business decisions, micromanagement, disrespectful and abusive treatment toward EVGA employees. They dont like Andrew.

Now EVGA AMD X570 motherboard owners posted messages with excitements to look forward to buy EVGA AMD AM5 X670 motherboards but unfortunately someone posted a message informed EVGA CEO Andrew Han told Gamers Nexus EVGA not currently working on AMD AM5 motherboards. Guess EVGA will be no longer make AMD motherboards.
