Apparently hundreds of 4000 series GPUs already in stock, maybe whoever is buying won't have to wait like me for over 6 months to get RTX 3080 after preordering it few minutes after the release:cry:
launching with about 5 worthwhile games that support dlss 3 featues, a 450w + power draw and a 2k price tag, going to sell like hot cakes

Is this poll so ocuk know how many cards to order?

Its a poll about regular forum posters' intentions only and it doesn't reflect those who simply visit the shop without entering here which is probably quite a proportion you only hear from them when something goes wrong like all the pre-orders that couldn't be fulfilled with the last generation of cards most of those who posted in those threads had very low post counts. Besides many will complain here but will open their wallets anyway.

With mortgage lenders pulling products I can see Nvidia getting worried about higher end sales, I mean let’s face it, you’ll need a mortgage to buy one…. :p :D

Joking apart though, what a ridiculous and ultimately unsustainable situation PC gaming is heading into, even entry level cards are high end prices of a few short years back, I can sadly see the casual PC gamer market drying up in favour of consoles ultimately leading to publishers dropping pc versions of titles eventually.

So we may well find ourselves in the crazy situation where those who want - and can afford - the high end AAA experience find themselves unable to do so….

Crazy.

Gibbo will be on here on day 1 telling people they're flying off the shelves whatever happens, you take that to the bank. Even when cards are clearly gathering dust like all the old tech Ampere cards at 2 years old MSRP are right, now and AMD's last gen also, he always says sales are strong...gotta stoke that FOMO!

Zen 4 orders started yesterday, all retailers are still fully stocked. Compare that to Zen 3 when they were out of stock within minutes. Market is indeed sensitive to prices. You can't increase prices by 100% and expect them to sell just as well. It's not going to happen.

As long as 4090 launch is a real one and not a paper launch, I expect these will stay on shelves.

Sadly we're so buggered in the UK we might as well convert all our money to dollars now and wait for Xmas to convert it back if we want to make money on the markets.
That time was a year ago mate please don't because that's how normies always end up buying the top or selling the bottom.

Yup, Zen 4 prices are bananas too. I'd like to upgrade to Zen 4, but it's just a really bad time to buy into any of this stuff. Scalpers must be crying themselves to sleep every night that there are no opportunities for them now.

Agreed. Sadly, I think we're starting to pretty much get there anyway. Gamepass, whilst a great deal, is an example of how platform doesn't really matter anymore, so why bother making a PC version if you can just port?

Mouse and keyboard is now supported by the main consoles, isn't it? If not, that is pretty much the final step...

It's 2pm on the 12th for the 4090, right?
