I don't think there's a right or wrong here, it's probably best described as a majority opinion. VR gaming is pretty niche in itself, and if you think £2k is a worthy outlay then fair play to you.

For me, we're at a ridiculous state with gaming hardware at the moment. There's a reason why I own a 6800XT as opposed to a 6900XT or a 3090 - it's because my value for money upper limit for a GPU is £750. It seems now that there won't be a choice in that price range any more, which essentially means holding onto the card for around 5 years.

Maybe I'm mellowing a bit, but to be honest the state the hardware market is in doesn't actually bother me as I'm quite happy to drop settings, lower resolution or even game on my PS5.
I managed to get a 6800 for £600 just before the big rise, I certainly won't be able to keep spending that kind of dosh going forward so I guess I'll flog this card to death and then pray for a drop in prices (not gonna happen)

My only challenge is I’m away from tomorrow for 6 weeks. So whilst I want one, I’m going to have to gamble on stock being available in late November and the prices not being scalped up.

Having said that I’m also rebuilding my entire system, and by the time I return raptor lake should be delivered along with the new z790 mobos

Zotac Trinity - Good availability (100 units)

Zotac AMP AIRO - Good availability (100 units)

I would steer clear of cards below 20 units, were expecting hardly any additional stock this month, what you see above is all we have potentially for October, were more deliveries due November.
We will do our best but with so few units on certain cards like Strix and Aorus they will sell out within seconds, potentially minutes, in short only order if your happy to wait 4-12 weeks.

Zotac all cards, Gigabyte WindForce & Gaming, MSI Suprim X are the best bets stock wise!

How about the prices?
Thanks

Seems like enough stock to just about fullfil the 130 orders from the poll.
I voted to buy a 4090 but I'm in the US, so one less person in line on this site. I'm not getting into the F5 trenches on US sites either. I want to see reviews on the AIB cards before pulling the trigger. I'm not sure I like the new bronze-ish color of the FE qnd the wobbly fan makes it seem less like a premium product and more like a cheap toy.

If that means I don't get one today, fine. I'll get one later. -Not in big hurry this time.
