OMFG...took me over an HOUR to pay. What I didn't do to try and give them my money LOL had a Strix in my cart but sold out while I was trying to get thru...just went with a bottom of the barrel Trinity and saved a few hundo and I love the way it looks. As long as it's quiet, I'm cool with it.
This site is slow on a good day but at releases, it's dog ****! BUT saying that, at least there was stock and it's cool of Gibbo to keep us up to date. I was expecting these to get scalped like the 30's and the site to grind to a complete halt. Mr. Competitor had 4090's in for like a minute before ALL went, yep bots at work.
Seriously, if I get it, all the pain and suffering I experienced that hour will be water under the bridge LOL
 
That’s a very good point, the 4090 on the other place went in seconds. The FE isn’t being flooded on eBay yet so wonder if nvidia had issues

Other place deffo didn’t have bot defences

We manage to stop taking orders at just over 1000 sold. :eek:

So around 300 people will be waiting a few weeks until November when more stock is due.

Are the 300 people the ones who managed to check out, or is this for people who clicked pre order

I have been shopping at Overclockers since almost the start, increasingly (the last 3yrs) I find this company in bad taste is inflating the prices on the fly depending on demand, relying on people becoming more desperate as stock dwindles and increasing prices dynamically.
I will no longer be buying anything from Overclocks, I no longer support the business practice I am seeing - it is pure greed, in a time when the market is already ravaged by scalpers and other greedy entities.

Example, RTX4090 listed on directly on nVidia for sale at Overclockers for £1699.00 - you land at Overclockers to find that price is now £1849.00 or something similar........I was on this page at 14:00 continually and put a card in the basket at one price but the website wouldn't let me checkout, I come back later and that same card is now magically £300 more expensive.

Not playing these games any more Overclockers.......In very bad taste.

Last gen I had no buy button. Turns out the server instance I was on was not updating, recall seeing lots of the cloudflare? or something redirects so complete luck of the draw I think it was.
