Couldn't be happier with Zen so far. None of this "not bad for Sunday evening" lark, same speed, any traffic, 24/7. Worth every penny.
Indeed. Performance is fantastic. Might check out Be* if they have a product out by the time my contract ends.

Bt is a lot cheaper than Zen, from what I can see HERE.

Well BT Traffic shape Bit torrent traffic, up utill about 12.30am.
But I dont torrent so its not an issues.
I did not so long ago have a problem with BFBC2, where I couldnt get the server browser to display any results. Turned out it was being treated a encrypted p2p and throttled.
But it has since been fixed.
There where also issues with the Adobe website not so long ago.
So the traffic shapping is there.

Gah, still stuck on the slow profile, 9mbps down, 1.4 up on the highest package. Going to have to call them to get it sorted, doesn't sound right to me when it was running much, much faster for a few weeks.
Whats traffic shaping ?
Still to suffer it on BT Infinity![]()
You sure about that virgin media 50 and 100mbs service don't have no throttling what so ever but I know the cheaper packages do, as its peak times I'm hoping someone can show me the speeds that they get now on torrents
They knocked and asked firstly for permission and secondly to find out where the gas main is for our house.BT's contractors are digging up the path out front our house todayThey knocked and asked firstly for permission and secondly to find out where the gas main is for our house.
They've been at it all day. Looks like they are laying new ducts and unblocking existing ones.

Is there anyway I can see when my CAB/Exchage is going to be enabled? It says on the BT Infinity website that "Gateshead" is due for activation in March.
I imagine home connections with bt infinity or virgin are quite capable of hosting full on 32 to 64 player dedicated game servers now?
Yes, as long as the traffic is giving priority. 64 might be pushing it. A 64 man BF2 server uses 10Mb/s upstream.
