I asked my ISP after seeing a thread on the TBB forums.

I'll unlock this new modem that was exchanged last week this weekend if i get the chance....

Whats the theoretical max that you can get on 17a?

Just ran the BT Spedtester....

Upload seems slower than it should be? Very interested to know the pricing now....

not sure, but adsl24 guy got 140+mbs? 100 meters from the cab, crosstalk will chop his speeds down in the future.

I think BT are correct with the 80mbs limit tbh.

Ah yeah, but wasn't that on two bonded lines or something?

What i meant was whats the max on the 80/20 service? Something like 78/18?

20Mb/s is the default profile. The actual sync speed might be lower.

That's kinda interesting I get 24mbit attainable, 20mbit actual sync for upload (and I get 17-18mbit in speedtests) and yours is so slow... And on the flip side, my max attainable for download is 80mbit, sync/profile is at 65mbit, and your download is basically perfect. You'd think both would suffer, not one or the other. Although the slowness on your upload could be ADSL24's network I suppose.

Would love to see your stats, get that modem unlocked!

There's nothing at all to worry about with that graph Chris. Both the minimum and average latency are nice and stable and it's only the maximum latency that fluctuates occasionally.

If you are using the bt HH3, someone might be using the BTFON if it's turned on?

HH3 doesn't allow IMCP requests.

What woes? Looks to me as if something is using the connection, just got to track down what.

I'm also disappointed interleaving hasn't been reduced.
