Nice one Cooners, have you tried a download to see what speed you're getting?
Theres no increased price, and yes you have to ring them.
Yeah just wondering if the areas not 80/20 enabled are quoting 40Mbs exactly or like me a little over at 42.Probably not many are enabled yet mate, mine only got done this week.

You can also upgrade online.
Thanks for the info, have logged in and done it on the website. Anyone done it online know how long it takes to be upgraded?
Thanks

It confirmed mine via email.
LSWAL or Wallington, Surrey hasn't been upgraded to Infinity 2 as of yet. Have constantly been checking the wholesale checker to see whether the faster speeds will be available but I still get the constant 26mb/6mb ratio appearing
Am definitely hoping it does though as my Be connection is creaking at the seams![]()
If you were on 40 mb before was the upgrade to 80mb free? Did you have to ask BT for it? A friend from work is on 40, I'm sure he wouldn't mind an upgrade if it's free.

An estimate of 42 means you're pretty far from the cab. Everyone is on 17a.
Hang on, you're getting an estimate of 26Mbit and you're wondering why the 38Mbit to 76Mbit upgrade isn't available to you? It's likely that 26Mbit is all your line will be able to support because you're a long distance from your cabinet so of course you'd see no benefit when your estimate was below 38Mbit in the first place.
My exchange isn't 80/20 enabled though so I figured it wouldn't give me a higher estimate anyway.
I know why I'm not being offered as I'm over 1km away from the exchange
