I don't think it's just BT (it's worldwide). I can only pretty much get Google, OcUK and other small sites to load when using BT's DNS.

I checked both OpenDNS and Google Public DNS. OpenDNS is just as awful and Google's Public DNS (8.8.8.8) can load Twitter (the others can't) but it's still not working for other sites either.

MASS PANIC!!!!!!! THE WORLD IS OVER. ALL OVER FOLKS....

At least OcUK works. Still my TV is now pretty much useless, is it time to get the books out the loft yet?

Looks like a routing/peering issue to me as internet bound traffic leaves Telehouse. pings to Google DNs (8.8.8.8) work OK but open DNS on 208.67.220.220 is unresponsive.

Thank goodness for that. I'm having the same problem although I'm not on FTTC, just normal broadband.

I can only access a couple of websites, Ocuk. Is one of the few that will load up. Email access is fine via Outlook.

has changing DNS worked for anyone, a few people on twitter claim using Google sorts it, but has made no difference here ?

My Infinity has totally gone no connection at, some I'm connected to BT Wifi Hotspot near my house.

I tried changing but its had no effect on my connection.

im using a zyxel router all in one jobby on my infinity, changed the dns to google and its fine now :-)

if you use a hg612 etc, it wont have any effect

Im on normal BT broadband (i.E not infinity) and its been rubbish here in WSM too.

Pages not loading (google cache trying to pop up) etc.
