Yesterday was a great days racing, three good close races and not too many major incidents. I was a bit miffed that they didn't interview Aron after race three given he finished second, weirdness.

ITV are terrible, so that didn't surprise me.

They seem to be obsessed about showing the leader cross the line rather than focusing on very close battles behind. Turkington finished 0.008 seconds behind Neal, but instead we watched Plato sail across the line?

Yeah the race director wasn't very good. I seemed to catch more being there rather than watching on TV, normally it's the other way round. They do a decent job most of the time and I am grateful they have the coverage rather than there being no coverage at all.

... Great racing from Matt Neal to finish 3rd. I think I want to see Turkington take the championship however.

With the DNF in the final race I guess this is unlikely to happen now. I would love Andrew Jordan to win the championship though, he has been very consistent this year

Yep, no chance for Turkington now.

Personally can't stand Andrew Jordan, so will be gutted to see him win. But at the same time I don't think Shedden deserves the title either.

Matt Neal will be getting my support for the final 3 races.

A great day of racing! went in to the middle section and saw lots of drivers, also brushed shoulders with Plato and Tordoff as they ran back to their garage (they were running late after their Q/A) also think jordan deserves to win the championship because of his consistency! also his battle with Plato was awesome!

I managed to get in to Rob Austins garage while they were working on the Audi! and got close to the 1970's F1 Car!

Nope! I always struggle at Silverstone, I hate it, I much prefer the longer loop though. 1st race I was sat in the grandstand at the outside of Copse, 2nd race I was at Becketts but it was busy and I could only wedge myself in for a few shots (luckily I caught the Austin incident and gave up and just watched the racing. Third was was up in the stands at Luffield.

Also keeping an eye on twitter and facebook means you can find out about signing sessions so even if you can't get on the gridwalk you can 'bump' into drivers. I met Paul O'Neill just as he was doing a Q&A sessions and the Airwaves drivers had a signing session in one of the merchandise tents.

i was up in woodcote in the reserved seating, wasnt very good for photos with my camera, i dont have a high enough zoom, but awesome for watching the action!
i would go out and buy a zoom lense, but the camera i used belongs to my sister so would need to buy an SLR aswell, and plus i dont know where to start with lenses!

next year id like to get to Brands hatch indy (killer journey from near Exeter) and Thruxton.

i saw the que for the gird walk and was just like "no chance" so went over at the end of the Porche race and literally just walked up and down the back of the pits for ages, killed my feet but was worth it, saw a lot of the drivers and could have got signatures but stupid me DIDN'T BRING A PEN!

Only 1,500 people that ordered tickets online would have got passes for the pit walk so you would have wasted your time queuing up. Brands is well worth the trip, much better to watch than Silverstone.

Silverstone was a 3 and half hour journey for me so brands is no different.
im going to try and source a higher zoom lense for next season.
