Decided to take the plunge on this. 50% off at the moment on Steam.

Yes its still in Alpha and there is a lot still to implement but its lots of fun, great visuals and even though my driving skills suck, I really like it.
 
Decided to nab this as well. Only had a few short goes on it but it's loads of fun even with the keyboard. That track that is predominantly sand... every time I come out of the loop part I'm just like "aaaaaaarrrrrrrghhhhhh!" White knuckle stuff! :D
 
Sounds good - hopefully this update will lure players back. I'll certainly be giving it a go when it drops!

New physics and rendering engine sounds good - as they said now that's done hopefully more stuff will be added at a faster rate. Looking forward to getting back into this :)
 
My 5 year old and 2 year old saw me playing this the other day and they drove me mad wanting to play it. Got it running fairly ok on my 5 year olds laptop with Intel HD 4000 GPU and they love the Derby matches.

Nice to hear an update is coming as there are some pretty bad remarks on the Steam store page over lack of updates.
 
Today this finally got it's first update in 9 months and well it's a step backwards imo.

Handling is more understeery, crash damage isn't as intense, visuals are worse and the tracks now look very barren and stripped back. Basically it feels like they sucked the fun out of what was a fun arcadey racer for the sake of making it more "realistic"

They have however added a truely awful camera shake when you crash which is odd.

I totally agree.

If that's 9 months worth of work then the game might be finished in 10 years.

I can't even remap the shifter paddles on my wheel, they have them mapped to the opposite way every other game in the world maps shifter paddles.
 
I bought this on the steam summer sale and got around to installing it yesterday due to massively limited internet, it's literally another dayz alpha ripoff, was stunned by the lack of features for a game that I've seen on the store for an age
