Build 5 TJ07

Also do you know where I can find some countersunk screws in black to put the case internals back together? I don't think they are M3? I can't find them absolutely anywhere.

I asked Nils but he doesn't have any, but what is he using in the MKII then!?

The countersink screws are 6/32 thread. I was looking for some but not found any yet. That's the problem when you start modding there's about £30 in lovely hex head screws all hidden from view.

Yeah I have been looking for a while too, so fustrating.

Also what did you use to attach the Cold Zero motherboard tray to the back plate? (I'm guessing rivets wouldn't be a good idea with plexi?)

Cheers

It comes with 3 nuts and bolts to fix it. It gets rid of those nasty brackets and no rivets is also a bonus

M3 bolt/nut? I think I will go that route with some brain washers on the outside and some nylon washers on the inside, I'm hoping that will be sturdy enough.

The part addiction continues!!!. The XSPC bay res was great in my 800D. In the TJ07 with its simple panel design I find the resonance too audible and the front panel doesn't look right due to the slightly oversize bay res.

I've gone for a pump top and single bay res. I'm going to try and hide the res so the front is cleaner.

Nice build. Why don't you use the combs with the mobo backplate?

I have a big bunch of black 6-32 screws from the US, but I am in mainland Europe.

TO be honest the combs edition was unavailable at the time. Looking at pics of builds with it there is no difference in visual. I think I slightly prefer the plate I have. Thanks for your comments btw;)

All done.

Added a Koolance CPU 380 which drastically improveed over the XSPC Raystorm.
Also put in a Koolance TNK-501 res which is a stunning bit of kit.
Swapped the old P67 Maximus IV for a new Maximus V Gene Z77

Thanks very much fellas. I must be happy with it too. The case side hasn't been off since 27th Jan. I've usually swapped cases or something significant in a month.
