Build refresh and downsize

Done that already. Only tests to see if the cooler will fit the board (it will). But need the actual case to see if the holes line up (oh the innuendos)
Hehe - hope so (nice design) - and it keeps you on track for attempting to fit the seemingly unfeasible into an ever diminishing space.

So, to re-cap, you've bought a bitch of an iddy-biddy case to work on and a bitch of cooler to fix (had a quick google at fitting) - you do know you're meant to relax in your down time.

@Journey, could you do me a favour and film the build as @tamzzy is going to say it was breeze even if he severs one of his digits off :D

LOL was just about to post this if it's of any use:

EDIT: Can't sleep, just looked at a few reviews of the case - couple used the Noctua (one modded with a 25mm fan strapped on - but still within standard Cryorig C1 height). You're right it's going be tight with that slimline case panel fan - but from reviews it has impressive results due to design. So even if you can't get the 25mm fan to fit - i don't think you'll be disappointed with the results relative to size constraints.

Mixed views on difficulty of build too - Steve mentioned SFX a few times but other builds were using full ATX PSU - but looks like cable management being the biggest PITA.

If it's of any help skip to ~15 minutes - he's using a NH-L9x65 with a 25mm fan - which would take the overall height to 76mm (the C1 being 74mm) - the angled view may give you a bit more of an idea of potential wriggle room:

#racist. :p
(Fyi I speak/understand mandarin lol)

Cryorig c1 is 74mm with fan and fan shroud. 13mm thick fan, and 2.4mm shroud according to what I've found. So essentially <59mm high when it's naked.
Rvz03 has 83mm clearance so hopefully should fit a 83.6mm HSF within build tolerances...(hopefully) lol

But yes, I've deliberately bought the non-argb version because of that silly argb controller. And not that I'm particularly partial to argb anyway

This might give you more room to play with:
Scythe SCBSK-3000 Big Shuriken 3 CPU Cooler - 120mm

OK, I need to get at least 4 hrs sleep.

Enjoy the remainder of your shift @tamzzy and try to stick at 13 unresponsive - 14 might start to look careless...

^^^^ this amused me this morning :)

Think I'll be following @tamzzy in the way of the RVZ03 .. but ARGB because if the kids, Nd white because all things IKEA

Seen some damn good 240mm custom water set ups in the case ! Just wished alphacool sold their 25mm versions as stand alone :/

ooh ouch. White argb rvz03 is expensive.
