I got them with the Lian li case, not sure if there sell them on the lLian Li website, but if you do a search for lian li cable management kit you should find them.

Booted up windows everything seems to be functioning correctly, cpu showing correctly, 6 gb of ram showing, run the windows 7 performance test, Ram got 7.5, CPU 7.5, HDD 5.9 and Graphics both got 1.0 haha but I havent installed the ATI drivers yet.

Going to tie the cabels at the back and close the case then I send more pics :)

when booting up still says no hdd detected so maybe I need to change some setting in the bios.

Congrats on the build, you got there in the end! Doesn't it feel so good having built your own PC?

I'm assuming your going to OC it are you? If you do, let us know how it goes :)

It's making me want to get on with my planned build, £2k-2.5k build in October is what I'm planning, wish I could do it now, but don't have the money at the moment lol

Thanks everyone the support has been 1st class :p

Case is closed, tried all I could with cable management, sadly because of poor light I can't get a decent pic.

two problems remain:

If I turn the switch to off(0) on the PSU, computer remains on
No led lights on top of the case

You said earlier that you plugged in all but the 2x 140mm, are these the two top ones? If they are, that'll probably be why :p

as for the power switch, can you turn your PC on if the switch is in the off position?

The two top fans are connected to the PSU and are spinning
I can still turn the PC on if the power switch is set to off on the PSU

Why so you can link him to this post and refuse the RMA based on a single picture of it on an antistatic bag with no proof that he switched it on while on the bag?

errr

no, its so i can help him out.

believe it or not, we do actually help people out?

i was going to suggest that i would pre-test his replacement so he had confirmation that it worked.

to the OP - good to see you got it going, looks pretty sleek too :D

LED lights sorted, not sure if the PSU faulty that it just doesn't turn off unless at the mains, don't really want to send the PSU back for RMA.....

Do the fans have a second power cable for the LEDs, or a switch on them to switch between just fan, and fan+LED? (I've seen fans with both, not sure is those will have either)

If your case still turns on with the switch off, it sounds like there's a problem with the switch, as the PC shouldn't power on when it's turned off! as that defeats the point of the switch! As horrible as it may sound, you might need to RMA the PSU (check that the switch doesn't do anything whenever you switch it, ie with PC on, PC off, booting etc), as the switch should provide a physical power disconnect from the mains.

Thanks :)

I guess that's one way to do it, but I'm only a student, do don't have huge incomings, or outgoings, but I've got a company sponsoring me for my degree, so I've been working (paid) for them during the summer, then I get a bursary at the end, so I know I have the money coming, it's just a matter of time...

If it does'nt turn off, then, there must be something wrong with it. It could blow up in the middle of the night and obliterate all your stuff. Better have it replaced now to be sure.:D

Have you mixed up the power and reset switches ?

Check over your motherboard connectors.

EDIT: Do'h that shouldn't make any difference soz

It's the PSU switch he's on about this one:

As you can see in his first picture, it's in the "off" position, however the PC is still turned on.

Just as a confirmation, does your PC boot when it's in the "on" position too? (to make sure it isn't just that the switch was put in/printed the wrong way round)
