Burnount Paradise Demo next week?

Criterion talk about the negative feedback:

Arrogance?
Attitude Problem?
Don't care?
Confident?
Cocky?

They seem to be have a hell of a lot of faith in it.

Sounds arrogant to me, but seeing as they are the only ones who have seen the finished article, I guess they can be.

I am still reserved regarding the crash mode, they should have given a point limited/time limited version of it in the demo.

Bit of a bump for the new year but wanted to stick my 2p in :p

Been playing this on and off for a week or so and I can honestly say its one of my most anticipated games yet.

I very rarely play games online, the few exceptions being Flatout, Burnout etc. but I love the online aspect of this game and adding more players will only make it better. Its not intrusive at all. Fancy taking someone out? Then go and hunt them down. Fancy exploring by yourself? Fine... but if someone beats that huge jump of yours you just can't resist trying to take your title back :p

This is all just my opinion but having a slightly slower than you might like car to start with makes a lot of sense. You've got a huge city to explore, jumps to find, billboards to smash. A slower car lets you take all that in before moving up to the quick machinery. What would be the point in missing all the hidden goodies as they go past in a blur?

I love the handling of the cars, the physics also seem great. Everything weighs what you'd expect and it just feels right without making it too realistic.

The drive aways make messing up stunts a riot. I managed to mess up 3 barrel rolls in a row and got away with it each time, the end result? A car which was almost flat :D

All in all I LOVE it.
