Any tips for dicing a swede?
I nearly lost my arm doing it yesterday. Must have taken me half an hour.
Came out pretty good in the end though.
Use a slicer to take the 'skin' off and quarter it then a chef knife to dice.

What is this heathen talk of 'making' haggis? Surely the only way to make a haggis is to get a mummy haggis and a daddy haggis who love each other very much .........
I wasn't overly impressed with my Ramsay one, it was a bit bland. Stan, what are the Crombies haggis like?
You should really hunt your own, for the sake of authenticity. It's not like they're difficult to chase down, once you get them on level ground...Burns Night again today and I'm having free range haggis from Crombies in Edinburgh
Incorrect - It qualifies as a form of exercise. Long as you only do it once a day, you're fine... and it also qualifies as going to get food!!@ttaskmaster
Lockdown precludes that.
Two ways, either with mash and gravy or chips. I'm not a fan of swede so the traditional neeps and tatties isn't really an option here.
You'll have to settle for hunting locally, then... It's all free range though, so should be perfectly good. It's not local! I'm not driving all the way to Scotland from Essex to go haggis hunting.
We eat it quite often during the year - It's not an attractive food to photograph though!
Whenever I get to Edinburgh, I always manage to get a haggis supper from the Clamshell. I'm sure @Muban would approve
Gravy? I just don't even know what to sayNice, I might not go to heavy on the gravy this time, I normally smother it in gravy but that really takes away all the flavours from everything else.
