Yeah, got back fine dude – got bored ****less on the M4 though, so came off at Newbury – dealer suggested the A40; but I decided to opt for the quickness of the motorway; sort of regretted it
Unlucky, but that the sort of thing that trigger an immediate return home – had the same on the R1 when the front lights packed up; ended a lovely day riding towards the coast

As for the day…… I haven’t eaten yet, lol, been riding solid! Love the bike, it’s what the R1 should have been like for the road, has masses of usable power and is so flickable, I’d probably go as far as saying that it’s better than the 675; and that thing was amazing!
Just put about 160 miles on it and got shot of those chicken strips to boot – just enjoyed leaning it over too much, although the left one is still there; may have to eat it as I’m starving now…
I purchased the Two Brothers can, but I’m in two minds whether to fit it – the standard can is actually pretty loud as standard, the factory stickers indicate 102Db at 6600 RMP – by contrast, my mates K5 is 90Db at 6000
I couldn’t stay off the net last night, so have about 500 quid’s worth of kit coming – the usual, hoses (white
), double bubble, K&N, Pazzos etc etc….. We sure do, always been good fun, Ive not organised one since my accident though

I was seeing a woman from work back in 2005, and it was her that made me think "you know what, why don't I take my bike test?" - that and she told me my car (Mondeo ST24) was an old man's car
Cheeky cow.Anyway, I had managed to get myself into a 13.5K loan over 5 years (I kept changing cars!) and all I had to show for it was an aging PC, and an R reg. ST24; so I sorted my finances out and cleared all that debt by January 2007
Loan free, I put my new disposable income towards funding my tests and kit, and I haven’t once regretted passing, even if I’ve had my fair share of bike-related mishaps
So, erm, yeah. That’s how I got into biking
