Bye Bye Scooby ( pics of replacement now posted )

Horrible car. Ugly, slow, handles like a boat, horrific interior and build quality. I'm not in the least bit impressed or envious.

Traitor. ;)

Lovely car squire. We share the same birthday, I had to check your age so was relieved I still have 6 years to grow up and get a "proper" car :D

Lovely car Rotti, couldn't have chosen a better car. Let us know what its like when youve got used to it(or even before).

More mature car than the scoob, guess the years are starting to tick by hey bud

my opinions have changed a lot in 6 years

Nice car Rotty.

I know this is off topic, but I remember you giving some good advice about company cars / high mileage staff.

In regards specifically, to claming back xp per mile when your company don't pay the full Customs and Revenue recommended rate.

how much was it?

this is why it was irresistible , I paid £26k ( plus waranty costs and the fact the it is due a service ) which I believe is low considering the spec and mileage

at least I hope it was cos the p/ex I got on mine really hurts :(

Nice car :D i remember seeing you post about maintenence costs on the Scooby...and I thought to myself for what it was it seemed extortionate.

I wouldn't say the M3 is a down step in car in any way though...

Enjoy :)

Like the new motor, very tasty.

I'm curious about your comments on running the Scoob. Just what were the running costs of it whilst you had it?

Yep, the M5 is butterscotch ;) :D

No butterscotch is nasty nasty, that would be a Pug206 GTi in the puppy turd brown colour. :D

An M5 would be a big hunk of cadbury's fruit and nut!

I've still got a soft spot for Scoobs, but I must admit that is a very worthy replacement

TBH I wasn't that serious the M£ will be as bad , the Scooby cost around £1000 a month to run inc fuel and depreciaition

MPG , brakes and depreciation were the only reaaly bad costs in running it

What was the part ex, 10k?

£12.5k, really hurt as that is over £10k depreciation in just over 2 years but I have been watching folks trying to sell Imprezas and nothing is shifting so I had to be realistic
