Am I going nuts or have they lowered the overall grip levels on the Cars?
I really think I'm sliding around a lot more than usual?

I dont think so, what I did notice is how awful the Auto gears makes the game play... I always use Manual, but, after the latest patch I reset the Xbox Pad controls to see what folk are whinging about, this swapped it back to Auto and WOW its amazing how bad the cars feel when you cannot change gear by yourself. Put the settings back to my custom ones with Manual gears and it feels perfectly natural again.

AFAICT the version from Steam (£40) is the 'Digital Edition' with the modified and LE car packs. Whereas CD Keys (£24) is the 'Standard' version with just the modified car pack. The LE car pack looks nice but do you want pay £16 for it now or wait until its available some time later.

I paid £30 for the 'Digital edition' from Greenmangaming just now (Includes Limited edition and Modified car pack)

Thought standard and LE are physical copies whereas digital, is well er digital :D, which if you preorder has all the DLC from the LE minus the physical media, steel case and book.

So if my logic is correct, there is only one 'digital' version you can get so would not the one from CDKeys be that as well?

A lot of those websites are in fact Physical copies which they take the cd keys from so that logic unfortunately isn't guaranteed though I can see where you were coming from!

See my post above as you can get the digital edition for £30 from gmg.

His point is, the key is put into Steam like the rest of them. You get sent the key to downloaded it, it'x not a physical copy that is mailed to you.

But my point is that there are 2 dd versions of the game

1. Standard - Which if you pre-order gives you the modified car pack
2. Digital Edition - Which gives you the Limited Edition 5 exclusive cars and career events. As well as giving you the pre-order bonus.

I checked the CDKey listing and as I said nowhere does it mention that the game is the Digital Edition version.

Edit - ninja'd by everyone :D

No, you have the same Pack as me, 'Full member' I too paid the €45 or whatever it was, all that happens is our current Steam Game gets converted to the 'Full Release' Edition automagically if I have understood it correctly.

** Project CARS **

Not seen a thread about it so thought would start one.

Seen a few trailers, graphics look impressive with a decent level of detail.
First impressions have been mixed. Due out in a few days on 7/5/15.

Is anyone looking forward to this, or has it pre-ordered?

Slack on me! I honestly did not know this was the same game.
I will hide in a corner and await the barrage of comments to follow!
