*******C.A.R.S - Community Assisted Race Sim*********

so I've been a backer since 2012, but only really started playing again towards release. I made a video today for it, since it's being released tomorrow.

Here's a video I just made https://youtu.be/-xF9NSMqbD8?t=5m52s

Here's my setup -

Looks cool but it's a bit bizarre you going to that level (Helmet and Race Suit...) then playing the Game with Racing Lines on and in Bonnet Cam :p

Nice slim bezels on those monitors but, they're so far away. To each there own.. BTW I've got the same Playseats A1GP seat. Looking for a replacement though is it no longer cuts it with my CSW v2.

I have a wide angle 16-35mm lens on my 5D Mark III, they are fine for viewing at that distance.
I don't fancy putting my wheel on my desk to be that close, I love my seat.

helmet and suit for authenticity, bonnet cam is always best for quick laps.
not changed anything in game, default settings (with racing lines).

erm... so you're probably driving with quite a few aids on too?! what's the point of going all out kit wise if you dumb it all down with aids etc and keep the "real" experience behind the scenes?

I've not touched the game for many months, last time I did I had trouble running it, tried it again after changing video settings and now running smooth, game's on default, I've not messed around with in game control and game settings.

You have either actively chosen to add driving line arrows, or you are using the "rookie" or "amateur" profile, rather than "pro" (which does not automatically give you unreal driving assists like traction control; abs; stability control). ;)

When did you last delete your pCARS profile from the Steam folders? ;)

I don't think the abilty to upgrade makes a career more challenging tbh.
Multiplayer performance doesn't really depend on how good your pc is. You can always turn things down to get good fps if needed.

Private multiplayer is where you go when you're sick of dickheads on public lobbies ;)

You're entirely misunderstanding what I'm saying, or simply taking what I'm saying out of context lol. Or maybe I'm being trolled?

Who knows, anyway, I didn't say the ability to upgrade makes the career. I'm stating I prefer racing games with a progressive career. Such as, win race series A to gain some pennies, buy new car in higher class to enter race series b.

Not just pick a class, pick a car and go. Doesn't appeal to me.

Also, again, did I mention anything about fps?? lol.

It's not how motorsport works though.
it's not track day simulator :D

Gahhhhhddd, I know! I just want me some arcade Forza fun on PC haha.

I am trying to determine if this game is that or not.

So... You can't buy turbo kits for a panda? :p lol

I guess I just misunderstood you. A bit of translation was needed to be fair, but hey...

Aye lol, so, in short, I want an arcade/sim with a fun career progression. As in, start out by buying a **** car then working my way to the top.

I'll likely still get this though as I do love a good racer. But I still need my craving satisfied :P
