*******C.A.R.S - Community Assisted Race Sim*********

I dunno then. Maybe look at Grid perhaps? I haven't really looked into it, since I prefer pure-ish racers.

Never know, might be fun to work your way up from karts in pcars unless you prefer to upgrade and stuff?

You have either actively chosen to add driving line arrows, or you are using the "rookie" or "amateur" profile, rather than "pro" (which does not automatically give you unreal driving assists like traction control; abs; stability control). ;)

When did you last delete your pCARS profile from the Steam folders? ;)

I'm using the intermediate profile - my time is listed here under CooliceT (which is my Steam profile) http://cars-stats-steam.wmdportal.com/index.php/leaderboard?track=1300627020&vehicle=152867459

I've never deleted anything in steam, like I said though I literally just installed fresh and trying game out, did a few laps just to be ready.

I'm no stranger to racing games - my old YouTube profile - https://www.youtube.com/user/DriverProfiles (it's me as you can tell from my race suit ;)

Which app is that please?

using DashMeterPro and also pCARS Dash, both worth it!

Thanks doofer and cezarewhite

Edit- Just noticed there is an app for the logitech g19 keyboard called pCARS LogiLCD but no download link. Any idea where I can get it? Cheers

For those who have played, or have it, is there a slo motion option in the replay? I've seen some videos and was hoping I could just switch slo motion on/off etc.

erm... so you're probably driving with quite a few aids on too?! what's the point of going all out kit wise if you dumb it all down with aids etc and keep the "real" experience behind the scenes?

I'd hope so. I was thinking to myself it looked a bit unrealistic/too easy not to lose control etc. Also no shifting?

Full suit, helmet and gloves made me giggle. :)

That's an awesome setup but I would've thought you'd have 3 huge TV's rather than monitors, if you asked a professional driver to critique your setup they'd probably say that it's like having a windscreen the size of a letterbox.

+1 for DashmeterPro. A great app and worth the investment if you're into racing sims.

Bought a relatively cheap Android phone and made a mount to attach to my rig.

The interface is easy to customise.

Yes, but it only works with a Gamepad for me, the triggers do it.

Hopefully my LE copy arrives tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have just seen over on the benchmark thread that AMD cards are not running the game as well as Nvidia cards. A GTX 660 has benched better than a 290X.

If I have to, I'll go back to Nvidia...

Can anyone with crossfire please let me know if it works with both cards properly. Tired of buying games that are broken with crossfire.
