Unfortunately we won't be running eyefinity displays due to spacing issues. Still going to be epic though ;)

ok cool just wanted to know what performance you were looking at getting, it dont run well on my 3 screens with dual 580's...

i was looking into getting a GTomega when i was looking for a cockpit, but i went with the obutto...

yeah i few things put me off it.

the leather seat as i get hot in the long races, it seems too high, the pedal plate isnt adjustable and the keyboard tray seemed to be very flimsy...

whats your views on these points???

I personally haven't tested it yet as i've been too busy doing other things with the stand. But i'll let you know when i've tried it at the event

You need to do the ffb multi tweak via the dev menu with the 189 build.

Lowering them to be 10-30% of their original value makes a noticeable difference.

Not ideal, but better than how it feels at stock.

Having a good little hotlap battle with my sim racing team mate at Sakitto GP with the Asano X4 quite fun actually!

But will be better when multiplayer is implemented.

Because of the AI, or because you have a heavy right foot? :)

My right foot ate too many pies :(

take the handling off pro put to novice for a start

Ah yes I forgot to do that, new build and everything... However even on the other builds on lower settings I had too much wheel spin and open-wheel cars tended just to skid out! (Yes I suck at sims)

In a post earlier in the thread

I said that the Trustmaster T500 RS didn't work properly with Race '07 and it's expansions.

Well after a bit of digging I found Trustmaster have created a profile you can add to your SimBin/RACE07/UserData/ControlSet folder and I have to say it's absolutely superb. It makes the G27 feel like a toy iin comparison.

I have turned down the FFB settings in game from max to medium and slightly turned down other effects because they were just too strong. I also changed the wheel rotation from 1080 to 360 degrees in the Thrustmaster Control Panel, so the wheel movement in my hands matches the wheel movement on screen.

I was a bit miffed that Race '07 didn't work out of the box with my new wheel, but after adding the profiles Thrustmaster provide, it's added a new level to an already great game.

The profiles are on this page with instructions:

Might dig out my rFactor key now.
